Construction of San Fernando Ferry Port Terminal starts

Construction has started on the Php 35-million multi-purpose ferry port terminal in San Fernando, La Union, a transport facility aimed at cutting travel time to and from the cities of Alaminos and San Fernando, as well as Dagupan in Pangasinan, from more than five hours to just two and a half hours.


The 2,043-square meter San Fernando Ferry Port Terminal forms part of the Tri-City Ferry System initiative led by the  Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and the Department of Transportation (DOTr). 

BCDA, PAF team up to bring aid to Typhoon Odette victims

Responding to the urgent call for aid in the wake of Typhoon Odette, the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), in partnership with the Air Logistics Command (ALC) of the Philippine Air Force (PAF), recently donated relief packages to calamity-stricken families in Cebu.

The packages containing canned goods, noodle packs, rice, water, hygiene kits and other food items were turned over on Dec. 23, Thursday, to ALC chief MGen Florante Amano at the command’s headquarters in Clark Air Base, Mabalacat, Pampanga.

New UK envoy visits New Clark City, new Clark airport terminal

Showing continued support of the UK government to the sustainable and resilient projects by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), the new British Ambassador to the Philippines Laure Beaufils visited two of the state firm’s major developments - the New Clark City in Tarlac and the new Clark International Airport (CRK) terminal in Pampanga. 

BCDA welcomes appointment of Centino as AFP chief

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has welcomed the appointment of Lt. Gen. Andres Centino as the new Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief of staff. 

BCDA Officer-in-Charge President and CEO Aristotle B. Batuhan was among the first officials to congratulate the new AFP chief during the turnover of command ceremony at Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo in Quezon City on Friday. 

BCDA, NAS JOINT PHOTO RELEASE: Closer Look: National Academy of Sports Campus

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and National Academy of Sports (NAS) gave a more intriguing preview of what the NAS campus at New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac would look like with the release of full-size architectural renders of the future home of Filipino student-athletes.

Taking the spotlight are the conceptual designs for the NAS multi-sport gym, the academic and administration building, as well as an aerial perspective of the complete campus.
