BCDA moves forward with P3-B plan to relocate, modernize PAF housing and support facilities

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) is a step closer towards the completion of its over Php 3-billion plan to relocate and modernize the housing and support facilities of the Philippine Air Force (PAF). 


Projects tabled for construction include the Php 3-billion development of PAF housing and support facilities which will be relocated to a 65-hectare site in New Clark City. 

Megawide-GMR hands over CRK new passenger terminal to DOTr, BCDA, LIPAD Corp.

The Megawide-GMR Construction Joint Venture, Inc. (MGCJV) handed over the certificate for the completion of the Clark International Airport New Passenger Terminal Building’s Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) Works to the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) in ceremonies held at the airport site inside the Clark Freeport in Pampanga on Friday, January 22.

BSP and BCDA sign contract of lease for new BSP Complex at New Clark City

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) signed on Wednesday, January 13, a contract for lease of a parcel of land at the New Clark City’s National Government Administrative Center (NCC-NGAC) in Capas, Tarlac that will become the site for the new BSP Complex.

 

BSP Governor Benjamin E. Diokno and BCDA President and CEO Vivencio B. Dizon signed the contract of lease during a virtual ceremony.

 

National sports academy on track to start classes by 2021, officials visit site at New Clark City

The National Academy of Sports (NAS) is on track to open classes and start the development of young scholar-athletes within the year, officials said during a recent site visit at New Clark City.

 

A contingent from NAS led by Executive Director Prof. Josephine Joy Reyes, Department of Education (DepEd) and the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) visited New Clark City on December 4, Friday, to inspect the site of the academy pursuant to Republic Act 11470, as well as the sports facilities which will serve as the training ground of the student-athletes.   

 

New Clark City cited as PH’s top sports tourism venue

The world-class sports complex in New Clark City was cited as the 2019 Sports Tourism Venue of the Year at the 4th Philippine Sports Tourism Awards (PSTA).

 

Already on its fourth year, the PSTA recognized “exemplary sports initiatives from the public and private sectors who have shown interest and deep conviction in promoting sports tourism in the country during 2019.”
