New Clark City builds up PH’s SEA Games hosting—Senator Bong Go

Excitement stirs up as the world-class New Clark City sports complex shows the country’s readiness to host the upcoming 30th South East Asian Games.

 

This was evident during the site visit of Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano who’s also the chairman of the Philippine South East Asian Games Organizing Committee (PHISGOC), and members of the House of Representatives’ committee on Youth and Sports Development in New Clark City, Capas, Tarlac. 

 

PH’s new Aquatics Center opens doors to UP varsity team

As the New Clark City sports complex will soon be a premier training ground for national athletes, over 50 members of the University of the Philippines (UP) Varsity Swimming Team recently trained at the new, world-class Aquatics Center.

 

“This pool is the first of its kind in the Philippines, and I think it will really help the development of [competitive] swimming in the country,” says Hans Chua who’s the captain of the UP men’s swimming team.
