The world-class sports facilities in New Clark City impressed international boxing icon Senator Manny Pacquiao when he visited, days before the 30th South East Asian Games begin on November 30. During his visit, Pacquiao interacted with athletes from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines, asking them about their stay in New Clark City. The athletes replied in unison, “Everything’s great!” referring to the accommodation, food, and training facilities.

1. New Clark City, a project of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), is on track to becoming the country’s first smart, green, resilient and fully master-planned metropolis. This project was conceptualized and initiated during the Aquino administration, and was continued and fast-tracked by the Duterte government. 

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA)  wishes to clarify that it did not borrow from any Malaysian bank for the construction of sports facilities in New Clark City.

BCDA’s project partner, development firm AlloyMTD, undertook the construction and the development of New Clark City Phase 1A, which includes the sports facilities, through its own sources of financing.

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) would like to correct and clarify the false news that have been coming out regarding FedEx’s planned operations in Clark, Pampanga.

“We have been talking to FedEx and as far as we know, this move is not because of any plans to move out of China, but rather, a part of its ongoing expansion throughout the Asia-Pacific region. We are not however at liberty to disclose any details of the ongoing talks at this time,” says BCDA President and CEO Vince Dizon.

Clark Development Corporation (CDC) today, November 1, has turned over to Mabalacat City Police the drivers involved in the incident at the Fontana Leisure Parks in Clark Freeport Zone for filing of appropriate criminal charges against the people involved.

Initial investigation by the CDC Public Safety Department (PSD) officers who were immediately dispatched to the scene showed that the collision of two fast-moving vehicles caused the death of a pedestrian, a Chinese national, who was sideswiped by one of the vehicles.
