BCDA STATEMENT

We would like to assure the municipality of Capas and its officials that the national government will address all the issues and concerns raised following the decision of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases to use New Clark City as a quarantine site for our repatriated kababayans.

All preventive and precautionary measures are being put in place by the Task Force not only for our repatriated kababayans, but to also ensure that the adjacent communities of New Clark City and all Capaseños are kept safe and protected.

New Clark City ready to receive Pinoy repatriates

The Athletes’ Village in New Clark City will be the site used for our repatriated kababayans from China as they undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine period.

 

New Clark City was designed to be a resilient metropolis, and is ready for any and all situations, including those that concern public health.

 

The country is fortunate that President Rodrigo Duterte fast-tracked the development of New Clark City as part of the administration's infrastructure development program.

 

Tarlac gov't to build facilities in New Clark City

The provincial government of Tarlac will soon establish and operate its offices, as well as other institutional facilities in New Clark City.

 

A memorandum of agreement was recently signed between the Tarlac provincial government and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) for a 52-hectare land within New Clark City, the country's first smart, green, and resilient metropolis.

 

New Clark City Athletics Stadium ‘absolutely beautiful’ says gold medalist Natalie Uy

2019 South East Asian (SEA) Games pole vault gold medalist Natalie Uy recently described the world-class Athletics Stadium in New Clark City as “absolutely beautiful” and considers going back to train at the new sports complex.

 

“The track was amazing and there are two pits now in the stadium and in the practice track. They’re absolutely beautiful,” Uy said in a television interview.

 

New Clark City to host 2020 Asian Swimming Championships

Philippine Swimming Inc. President Lani Velasco, Bases Conversion and Development Authority President and CEO Vince Dizon, Asian Swimming Federation Secretary General Taha Al-Kishry and Philippine Sports Commission Celia Kiram sign a partnership agreement for the Philippines’ hosting of the 11th Asian Swimming Championship. The event will be held at the world-class FINA-certified Aquatics Center in New Clark City, Capas, Tarlac in November 2020. 

Aeta workers praise New Clark City for job opportunities

NEW CLARK CITY, Capas, Tarlac--Aeta workers in New Clark City got to experience the world-class facilities during the 30th South East Asian Games held here. 

“Masaya po…kasi marami pong kapwa ko na nanonood,” says Ernesto De Guzman while watching the recent games at the Aquatics Center. “Hindi na po lumalayo yung ibang mga katutubo na manood pa sa ibang bayan. Dito na lang po sa amin,” he added.
