China Development Bank collaborates with BCDA to seek best financing option for USD4.5B-worth infrastructure projects
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) have awarded the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contract for the Clark International Airport (CRK) new terminal building to the Megawide-GMR Consortium.
Megawide-GMR was declared as the bidder with the "lowest calculated responsive bid," after passing the post-qualification evaluation phase of the competitive bidding—besting four other bidders for the design, engineering and construction of the new CRK terminal building.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) announced that the Megawide-GMR Consortium emerged as the lowest bidder out of the five firms which bid for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of the Clark International Airport expansion project.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) announced that five out of seven firms which submitted their bid documents last December 5, are eligible for the opening, evaluation, and deliberation of the technical proposals for the Clark International Airport expansion project.
The firms which submitted the bid documents are China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd., China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd., Sinohydro Corporation Limited, the joint venture of Megawide-GMR Infrastructure (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., DDT Konstract, Inc., R-II Builders, Inc., and Tokwing Construction Corporation.
The Special Bids and Awards Committee (SBAC) will conduct the opening, evaluation and deliberation of the eligibility documents submitted today, December 5, 2017, at the Kalayaan Hall, SM Aura Office Tower, McKinley Parkway, Taguig City.
Chairman, Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur P. Tugade, together with Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) President Vivencio B. Dizon, recently concluded an out-of-court Settlement Agreement over its dispute with China National Machinery & Equipment Corp. Group (now named China National Machinery Industry Corporation or SINOMACH), the former contractor of the 80-km Caloocan to Malolos segment of the NORTHRAIL Project.
