New Clark City to host inaugural triathlon race to test world-class facilities
Capas, Tarlac—The New Clark City sports complex is geared up for a triathlon race slated from October 19 to 20, 2019.
At least 700 participants are expected at the New Clark City Triathlon 2019 to test the country’s new sports facilities before the upcoming 30th South East Asian (SEA) Games.

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) welcomes the proposal filed by Senator Sherwin Gatchalian to transfer the seat of government to New Clark City by 2030.
"BCDA supports Senator Gatchalian's proposal to start the move of government agencies from Metro Manila to New Clark City. This initiative will not only solve Manila's congestion problems, but will also create opportunities in Central Luzon and nearby regions," said BCDA President and CEO Vince Dizon.
BCDA among top-performing gov’t agencies rated by business executives
The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) debuted at 12th place in the 2019 Makati Business Club’s (MBC) Executive Outlook Survey. BCDA received a 77.1 percent satisfaction rating for its performance in the second semester survey, just 0.7 percent shy of the top 10.
The survey was participated by 100 executives from 100 companies, who were asked to rate whether they were satisfied or not with the performances of 69 government agencies in the past year (July 2018 to June 2019).
BCDA pitches investment opportunities in New Clark City to German firms
New Clark City is the next investment destination in Asia, said the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), as it pitched business opportunities to German firms at the recent 2019 Asia Pacific Forum Bavaria held in Nuremberg.
