PPMC takes over interim operations of San Fernando Seaport

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has authorized its subsidiary, Poro Point Management Corp., (PPMC) to manage the interim operations of the San Fernando Seaport in La Union following the lease contract expiration of the seaport’s previous operator. 

BCDA President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang and PPMC President and CEO Felix S. Racadio signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) granting PPMC interim operational control over the seaport, and ensuring the continuity of operations and provision of services in the seaport area.

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) would like to inform the public that on 22 October 2024, the Supreme Court issued a Certificate of Finality of Judgment in the consolidated cases of BCDA vs. CJH Development Corporation (CJH DevCo), et. al., and CJH DevCo vs. Commission on Audit and BCDA, with G.R. No. 219421 and G.R. No. 241772, allowing BCDA to recover the 247-hectare Camp John Hay property from CJH DevCo. Consequently, all rights claimed, acquired, derived, or traced from CJH DevCo are covered by the final judgment of the Supreme Court.

BCDA, DA, Pampanga uni to establish ethnobotanical learning facility for Aeta farmers

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has teamed up with Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Field Office III and the Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) to establish a 10-hectare ethnobotanical learning facility in New Clark City, Capas, Tarlac in an effort to scale up the capacities of local farmers and fisherfolk, especially the Aeta communities in Pampanga and Tarlac.

Kalangitan landfill operator has no Authority to Operate/business permit

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) reiterates that the 100-hectare Kalangitan sanitary landfill in Capas, Tarlac, has no Authority to Operate (ATO)/business permit and any attempt to continue its operations would be against the law. 

The BCDA remains firm that the Contract for Services between Metro Clark Waste Management Corp. (MCWMC) and Clark Development Corporation (CDC) expired last October 5, and cannot be renewed or extended.

Business giant MVP sets its sights on the growth of Camp John Hay

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) met with executives from the business conglomerate of Manuel V. Pangilinan (MVP) on December 19, 2024, to discuss potential investments aimed at fostering growth in Northern Luzon.
