UCFC to hold football matches in New Clark City

CAPAS, TARLAC. Philippines Football League (PFL) defending champion United City Football Club (UCFC) is set to hold football matches at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium in the coming months, bringing excitement to football fans in Central Luzon.

UCFC will be battling against the Azkals Development Team on October 22 at this world-class facility, making it the first football game to be held in New Clark City since it was built in 2019. This will be followed by another match against Stallion Laguna FC on November 5.

Virology Institute expected to rise in New Clark City

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has allocated a five-hectare land in New Clark City for the construction of the proposed Virology Science and Technology Institute of the Philippines (VIP).


The lot has been identified and earmarked under an agreement signed by the BCDA and Department of Science and Technology (DOST) recently, bringing the government one step closer towards the formation of the country’s premier virology research institute that will strengthen our wall of protection against infectious diseases.

About 700 triathletes to compete in RLC Residences New Clark City Triathlon

GoClark Sports & Events, RLC Residences, and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) have teamed up to host the biggest triathlon race in New Clark City in Capas, Tarlac, where about 700 triathletes across the country are expected to compete for a podium finish.

The RLC Residences New Clark City Triathlon, which will happen on Sunday, September 25, marks the return of the multisport activity in the world-class sports complex, after its inaugural race in October 2019.

Australian, New Zealand business set sights on New Clark City

Over 50 delegates from Australia and New Zealand visited and toured around New Clark City, the Philippines’ new frontier of development, to explore growth opportunities for automotive, agribusiness, tourism, and renewable energy, among others.

After a long hiatus brought about by the pandemic, hundreds of enthusiastic cyclists, swimmers, and spectators pumped energy into New Clark City, as it hosted the safe return of two of the country’s most-awaited sporting events, GoClark Sports & Events’ Clark Cycling Classic and Philippine Swimming Inc.’s Long Course Grand Prix Long Course Grand Prix Qualifying Series. 

Young swimmers provide enthralling performance at National Finals in New Clark City

Over 300 young Filipino swimmers from all across the Philippines battled it out at the FINIS Short Course National Finals, which was held at the New Clark City Aquatics Center in Tarlac on 20 and 21 August 2022.
