With another favorable ruling, the Court of Appeals has once again affirmed the Bases Conversion and Development Authority’s (BCDA) rightful claim and mandate over Camp John Hay in Baguio City—marking a critical step forward in BCDA’s efforts to transform the area into a vibrant public asset for the benefit of Baguio and its neighboring communities.

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) welcomes the favorable decision of the Regional Trial Court of San Fernando in La Union, which dismissed the Petition for Land Registration filed by Shipside, Inc. over a parcel of land within the Poro Point Freeport Zone (PPFZ).

In a bid to future-proof New Clark City with robust and reliable internet connectivity, the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has started the competitive bidding for the commercialization of passive information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure in the rising metropolis. 

The University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH) Sports Medicine and Wellness Center in New Clark City, Tarlac is now offering basic medical and dental services to the public, making healthcare more accessible to local communities of Tarlac and Pampanga amid the area’s rapid infrastructural and economic expansion.

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has signed a 25-year contract agreement with property giant Ayala Land Inc. (ALI), for the lease  of the John Hay Technohub (also known as Ayala Technohub) in Camp John Hay, Baguio City.

Dividends remitted by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) to the national government reached a record-high of Php2.04 billion in 2025, marking a 30.68% jump from last year’s Php1.56 billion. This milestone underscores BCDA’s growing fiscal contribution driven by efficient revenue generation and expenditure management.
