Item II.C.2 – Professional Photography Services

Expensed related to transportation, shoot expenses (e.g. rent of penthouse, use of helipad) and meals of the crew are included in the budget

Item II.A.2 – Graphic Design Services

Presentation of two (2) concepts: sample lay-out cover, inside pages, board of directors page

Aerial shoot does not necessarily mean shoot is done onboard a helicopter.  Use and rental of helicopter during the photo shoot will be shouldered by BCDA, while rental fees for the use of helipad and penthouse are included in the bid. Transportation and expenses on food, the hiring of models, van rentals, etcetera, are also included in the budget.  Transportation provided by the Consultant should seat 12-15 people.

The theme of the 2009 Annual Report shall be conceptualized by the Consultant. BCDA will email previous Annual Report themes for the Consultant’s reference. The Consultant shall provide and present three (3) creative concepts (visual and descriptive) to include the following:
          a.  sample cover lay-out

            b. inside pages

c. board of director’s page

Item 11.1(e)(ii) – Two (2) design concepts for the BCDA 2009 Annual Report showing cover layout, inside pages and board of directors page with separate sheet showing copywriting sample (TPF 5A. Design Concepts and Copywriting Sample for the BCDA 2009 Annual Report).

Item 11.1(e.2)(ii) – Additional documents required: Authority of the signatory described in ITB Clause 12.2

 Three (3) design concepts for the BCDA 2009 Annual Report showing cover layout, inside pages and board of directors page with separate sheet showing one (1) copywriting sample each for the one-page essay based on proposed theme, Chairman’s message, and Asset Disposition Report and  (TPF 5A. Design Concepts and Copywriting Sample for the BCDA 2009 Annual Report).

The Consultant shall submit as an additional requirement a Written Authority, as described in ITB Clause 12.2 - An authorized representative of the Consultant shall initial all pages of the Bid. The authority of the representative and/or signatory shall be confirmed by written power(s) of attorney accompanying the Bid as follows:

a. For sole proprietorship: affidavit of the owner or a   Special Power of Attorney (SPA);

b. For partnership: partnership resolution from the President or General manager;

c. For corporation: board resolution with Secretary’s Certificate; or

d. For JV: resolution issued by each JV    member

Reminders:

1. Deadline of submission to BCDA of written queries from the consultants will be on 26 August 2009, 5PM;
2. Deadline of bid submission will be on 04 September 2009, 12:00 noon, and opening of bids will follow at 1:00PM of the same day;
3. Presentation of each consultant’s sample design concepts  will be on 07 September 2009 from 9:00 AM onwards, each consultant will be given thirty (30) minutes  to present;
4. The committee reiterated that it is the proponent’s responsibility to read the whole Bid Documents to ensure completeness of their submission.
